The Elbe palaces, Dresden

The Elbe palaces
The three Elbe palaces, perched on the Loschwitz hillside high above the river, afford a magnificent view out over Dresden.
Albrechtsberg Palace was built for Prince Albrecht of Prussia.
Villa Stockhausen, the middle of Albrecht's three palaces, was built for the prince's chamberlain and was later bought by industrialist and toothpaste-magnate Karl August Lingner.
Schloss Eckberg has been used as a hotel since 1985.
Once a year the three residences and surrounding parkland become the venue for an enchanting evening of culture and entertainment.(source)
