Postcards from South Korea


Initially, it was cast of copper by Priest Chinp'yo during the reign of King Hyegong of Shilla Kingdom and was preserved for more than 1,000 years. However, it was destroyed during the reign of Daewon-gun the Prince Regent of the Choson Kingdom.   In June 1967, it was being made of reinforced concrete but removed because it was worn out. It was made of bronze in 1989.  And it is the tallest all over the world 33 meters.
